About the event
Students spend 7 nights in Tanya’s family villa in an ancient, walled hilltop village in Umbria, not far from the Tuscan border. Travelers will enjoy a private pool overlooking the vistas of the Umbrian hills, en-suite bathrooms and a chef kitchen where the group will cook and gather in the evenings.
Travelers will spend 6 immersive days, discovering the intersection of food, wine, history and values that makes Italy one of the most vibrant and healthy wine cultures in the world. Travelers will be received like family everywhere they go, from gastronomic Michelin restaurants to exclusive wineries, to small biodynamic farms, and winemaker’s home tables, engage in farm to table cooking and foraging experiences, visiting historic sites, and ancient Etruscan caves where sparkling wine sparkling wine is re-fermenting.
These experiences are so personal that one might call them exclusive - yet the words, “intimate”, and “inclusive” are more apropos.
